We loved shopping there me and my wife drove all the way from Hanford, California to Visalia. It was clean. It was authentic. There was variety. The hot food tasted delicious. The prices were a little high, but the experience was well worth it. I recommend this Vallarta to anyone who wants a true Experience shopping.

I was saddened when the Vallarta store in Colorado Springs closed, but now we are moving to the Central Valley to see so many stores in just a 15-20” drive. Love the variety of produce, meats, and everything else! So happy to be moving in a great city/town/county where I see a thriving community of all diverse people!

I can't speak Spanish and people behind meat counter were so good to get me someone who could speak English. Their Chicken al pastor is amazing along with the mexican salted creama from behind the counter. We drive from one end of town to the other just to purchase those two things for our tacos. Their veggies are always fresh and we like their brand of tortillas. Their brand large bagged flat tostada chips have less salt than any Ice been able to find. The people are really nice there. And prices good.

What an amazing place for baked goods, fresh meats and produce. The restaurant is good and the fresh corn tortillas are amazing.

Love Vallarta, it's close to where I live so I always find myself going there for most groceries. They have some of the best prices for the best quality produce around Visalia, same for meat. There is also a lot of variety for Hispanic/Latino foods and ingredients. They sell ice cream, they have a very good bakery in there with all sorts of breads, cakes, deserts etc. They sell tamales and some others as some sort of restaurant in there. As for the market side of Vallarta, though produce, meat, and cheeses have very good prices and quality, some other things like ingredients, frozen food, snacks, are not as well priced as Costco, or target right next to it. But the service makes it worth it, the staff at vallarta is really nice and helpful, lots of young people willing to go out of their way to help, and for those who like some Spanish, nearly all staff speak Spanish.

Great food at the cafeteria area on the south side of the building. Great prices on steaks in the meat section (look out for the $6.99/lb Porterhouse deals when they pop up). Good fruit and veg section. Find the occasional weird thing too like these Gatorade mash ups I couldn't find anywhere else. Keep an eye out and you'll find good things.
